Happy Friday!

Today has been an awesome day in Preschool 3.  We went to church and then had a wonderful time at the Walk-A-Thon.  We actually made it around the church and school twice and then enjoyed dancing with our friends and teachers.

This week we worked on the letter D, number 4, and mixing colors.

Next week we will start on the letter E and the number 5.  Next week is Fire Prevention Week.  We will learn about fire safety as well as everyday safety.  We will have a visit from the Landover Hills Volunteer Fire Department on Thursday, October 13th at 10:30 am.  The children will be able to explore the fire truck and learn about fire safety

Please continue to work with your child at home.  Coloring, playing with playdough,  etc.  All of these things help build their fine motor skills.  Also try to read to your child for a few minutes each day.  It helps to build their vocabulary and they love it.

Thank you so much for all your support,

Ms. Baker and Ms. Ruth

Welcome Fall!

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are having a great Monday.  This week in our class we will learn about the letter C, the color blue, and the number 3.

We have a lot planned this week.

Wednesday is our first Pizza lunch.  It is also blue day.  Your child may wear a blue shirt.

Please turn in your field trip forms and money by this Friday if you have not done so.

Thank you all,

Ms. Baker

Good Afternoon,

We are having a great time in our class.  Last Friday we made homemade butter.  The children were amazed that just cream, salt and alot of shaking will turn into butter.  We talked about how the liquid turned into a solid. When the butter was ready we enjoyed it on fresh, hot biscuits.

Good evening everyone,

The weekend is winding down and it's time to get ready for another busy week in Preschool.

This week we will be working on the letter B, the color Red, and Circles, as well as review what we learned last week.

The children are having a great time learning and playing.  I am so proud of them all.

Thank you so much for your support,

Ms. Baker and Ms. Ruth
