Good morning, 7th Grade Families!
Weather-wise, March has certainly come in like a lion, and it will hopefully depart us like a lamb.
As for academic life, the 7th grade is simply roaring with various educational endeavors-- and I daresay we shan't quiet anytime soon!
The 7th grade Reading class has been analyzing Jeanne Wakatsuki's fascinating memoir Farewell to Manzanar, which is about her family's harrowing time in a Japanese internment camp during World War II.
Also, we are gearing up to go on a field trip on May 19th. We will be visiting Ford's Theatre to view the spectacular broadway musical "Ragtime"! We will also take this day to tour the theatre and historical properties associated with the theatre and its museum.
Please note that next Friday, March 24th, is a teacher workday and students will not have school.
Blessings and joy,
