How do BASE period underwear work?

Aisle undies feature a specially-engineered lining that combines super-absorbent Truetex™ technology with a leak-proof layer to keep you dry and feelin’ fly.

Do Aisle period underwear contain PFAS?

No detectable levels of PFAS have been found in our underwear, based on a detectable limit of one part per million

Do I need to wear a pad or tampon with them?

Our Thongs work for very light flow, or as backup protection for a tampon or menstrual cup.

How do I wash my Aise BASE undies?

Rinse the gusset in cool water before washing in the machine with your regular laundry. Hang to dry where possible - it saves energy & prolongs the life of your undies! Just make sure they’re fully dry before reusing. Otherwise machine dry low.

Are BASE underwear compatible with Aisle Boosters?

Our period thongs are not compatible with Boosters.

Works well

These are a light absorbency, and I think there could be a bit more coverage ideally in the gusset, but I love the light and sporty style! I sized up from XS to S and that worked perfectly for me.

Size up!

After referring to the sizing guide, I ordered an XS. Typically I wear an XS in my clothes and also in other Aisle products. But this garment is super, SUPER tight. I could barely fit it over my hips and it also feels quite short length wise. Super bummed because the fabric is soft, the sizing is just inaccurate.

Comfortable and cute

The Base thong has a nice fit, wide comfortable waist band holds it in place all day reducing bulk and preventing any “digging” into your skin. Great for a light day or even absorbing some sweat while at the gym.

Comfortable, no leaks, forgettable period

Feels fantastic to be able to forget about menstruation with this, especially in combination with a menstrual cup (Diva Disc). Love the color and fit too, would wear when not on period.
