Kindergarten student are working on their Book of Art Styles from Around the World. The past two weeks, the students studied Chinese Brush and Ink Art. In their books, they each wrote an interesting fact they learned and also used a calligraphy pen to write "Chinese Art" at the top of their page. Then they experimented with brush and ink to make thick and thin lines and drew some animals and birds in this art style. The first four pictures in this posting are examples of traditional Chinese artwork that the students studied in class.
